Shaun Eddy

Shaun Eddy brings more than 25 years in the financial services industry, helping clients define and pursue their unique financial goals.   He finds it especially rewarding when thoughtful planning helps clients see that goals, once thought out of reach are achievable.

Shaun attended the University of Maryland and is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) practitioner.  He also earned a Master of Science in Financial Analysis (MSFA) from the College for Financial Planning.  Throughout his career, he has spoken at conferences and educational seminars across the United States, written numerous articles for local publications and appeared on radio and television programs.

He has extensive experience working with individuals, families, professionals and businesses. Shaun previously served as past President and Chairman of the Board of the Financial Planning Association’s Maryland chapter, as well as Chairman of the Membership Advisory Group of the Financial Planning Association in Denver.  He has also been actively involved with nonprofit and community organizations.

As a Rotarian, Shaun is guided by the principle of “Service Above Self” a value that informs Oxford Planning Group’s commitment to helping clients pursue meaningful financial outcomes.

Raised in an Air Force family, Shaun lived in many places around the world before making Howard County, Maryland his home more than 30 years ago.  A black belt in judo, he brings the discipline, self-control and mutual respect, central to the sport, into his work with clients.  Outside of work, Shaun enjoys outdoor activities and spending time with his wife, Tricia, along with family and friends.
